I have been an attorney with Montana & Welch since 2018.  I currently concentrate my legal practice in the areas of municipal law, election law, litigation, and insurance defense, corporate governance, and labor and employment law. I am available to our government clients for council and advice on all municipal matters; and specialize in land use matters, labor and employment law, adjudication, and emergent police department and building department issues.  I have extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts as well as before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights.  I have represented municipalities in civil rights, adverse employment, personal injury, breach of contract, premises liability, workers compensation, administrative review, and real estate cases.  I have also litigated election matters in Illinois Circuit and Appellate courts, in addition to the Supreme Court, and before the Illinois State Board of Elections, Chicago Board of Election Commissioners, and several county electoral boards. I recently had a referendum stricken in LaSalle County and was featured in The Times.  I also represent electoral boards and advise those boards on their statutory duties, practices, and procedures.
